The Kebbi State Police Command has arrested four suspected armed robbers at Ngaski and Arewa local government areas of the state.
The Commissioner of Police, Garba Muhammad Danjuma, while briefing journalists at the state command, said a notorious motorcycle snatcher, Umaru Yaro, on the 2nd of February, 2019 attacked and robbed one Nasiru Abubakar of his motorcycle at Gari village, Ngaski local government area but he was arrested by detectives.
Similarly, he said two notorious members of a robbery gang at Arewa Local Government Area of the state were arrested by police detectives.
He said: “Both Musa Gado and Jake Garba of Gorun Alu village had confessed to the attacks on one Abubakar Jibrin and Dantani of Gorun Alu village on the 31st of December 2018 and in the process shot dead Abubakar Jibrin.”
He said the suspects, after their interrogation, have been charged to court while the police were on the trail of the fleeing members of the gang.
