Police arrest burglar, recover laptop, phones worth N2m

The police in Oyo State have arrested one Awoola Tobi (23), a resident of Oleyo Ayegun, for burgling a shop and stealing phones and laptops worth N2 million.

The police spokesman in the state, who disclosed this, said the suspect was arrested at Felele area of Ibadan, the state capital.

He said the suspect was tracked and arrested in possession of the items which were earlier reported stolen by the owners.

The spokesman said the suspect burgled the items at Choice Plaza, Challenge area, last Thursday, and that he was tracked and arrested in possession of the 16 iPhones, a laptop and other accessories.
