The Kwara State Police Command said it has arrested another suspect, Atilola Sarafa, over the recent kidnap of the wife, Mrs Afusat Lawal; and two children, Taofiq and Aliyu; of a member of the House of Assembly, Hon Ayanshola Lawal.
City & Crime recalls that the police earlier arrested a suspect, Umaru Maanu, who is currently in custody at the correctional centre in Ilorin.
Meanwhile, the victims were released following the payment of a ransom.

Speaking on the latest development, the command’s spokesman, Toun Ejire-Adeyemi, told City & Crime that: “Through diligent investigation and cooperation from the community, the command arrested another suspect in relation to the case.
