Police arrest 8 ‘armed robbers’ in Nasarawa

The Nasarawa State Command of the Nigeria Police Force says it has arrested eight suspected armed robbers who have been terrorising the residents of Keffi Local Government Area of the state.

The Police Public Relations Officer in the state, ASP Ramhan Nansel, disclosed this in an exclusive interview in Lafia, the state capital on Sunday.

He said the suspects that were arrested  were led by one Shamsu Usman who allegedly invaded a house at Angwan Jarmi area in the Keffi Local Government Area of the state.

He said officers of the police command also arrested three suspected kidnappers who allegedly kidnapped the wife of one Alhaji Ibrahim Sarkinnana at Ayongo village in the Awe Local Government Area of the state.
