Yamu said further investigation into the matter led to the arrest of Friday Emmanuel Nnaji and Terver Chia and the recovery of 13 car batteries of different capacities.

He also noted that policemen on a stop-and-search around Wurukum roundabout intercepted one Raymond Ningir, alias Rex, and found that he was in possession of three flat screen television sets.

The police spokesman further explained that upon interrogation, Ningir confessed to have stolen the items from a hotel where he disguised as a guest, and that this further led police operatives to recover seven more television sets, bringing the total to 10.

Yamu said the suspects would soon be charged to court.
