The police in Edo State have arrested four suspects after allegedly snatching a Toyota Highlander at a gun point from its owner in the state.
It was gathered that three of the suspects, Ifeanyi Okpara (26), Dennis Okosun (25) and Edwin Iruogbe (27) snatched the vehicle with registration numbers RBC 66 AQ, at Ekpoma.
The police said the suspect sold the vehicle to the fourth suspect, Shehu Ismail (25), for N1.5 million.
The state Commissioner of Police, Nemi Edwin-Iwo, said the owner of the vehicle, Iwologbe Rapheal, reported the car theft to police on August 23.

He said operatives of the command’s Anti-Kidnapping Unit, through painstaking tech-driven investigation, recovered the snatched vehicle and arrested all the suspects involved, including the buyer.
He said a locally made pistol with two live cartridges were recovered from them.
Edwin-Iwo said the suspects had confessed to the crime and would be charged to court soon.
