Police arrest 4 cultists in Osun

The police in Osun State have arrested four suspected cultists in Osogbo, the state capital.

The Commissioner of Police in the state, CP Wale Olokode, paraded the suspects, Ridwan Alawode popularly known as Raddo; Okiki; Rasaq Adebayo and Olalekan Afeez, at the police headquarters in Osogbo Wednesday.

The police chief said weapons, including a locally made pistol and one black beret with the logo of Aye Confraternity were recovered from the suspects.

CP Olokode said, “The suspects were arrested upon the security intelligence availed to the police command that some criminal elements were planning to carry out their nefarious acts to jeopardise the peace of the state.”

The CP said the suspects would be charged to court after the completion of investigation.
