The police in Kano State have arrested three car thieves and recovered five cars from them.
The suspects, Usman Mohammed (37) and Suleiman Jibrin (30), all of Katsina State, were said to have been receiving stolen vehicles from one Odinaka Godwin from Katsina State.

The police command, through its spokesman, SP Abdullahi Haruna Kiyawa, said, “In continuation of a case of suspected motor vehicles theft, where one Odinaka Godwin (43), of Katsina State, was arrested in possession of nine pairs of motor vehicles number plates at Kofar Sauri Quarters, Katsina LGA, Katsina State, two notorious receivers of stolen motor vehicles, Usman Mohammed and Suleiman Jibrin, were arrested.
“Five suspected stolen motor vehicles were recovered from them as follows: Pontiac Vibe, grey in colour with Registration Number: JJJ-396-DN, Lagos; Toyota Camry LE, golden colour with Registration Number: ADK-885-AE, Ekiti; Honda Civic; Toyota Camry LE and Toyota RAV4, black in colour with Registration Number: APP-35 BP, Lagos.”
