Men of the Delta State Police Command have arrested three suspects, Dickson Omalge (47), Samson Ekwunwa (40) and Kanebi Michael (39), and recovered 12 stolen vehicles in Warri in Delta State and Benin City in Edo State.
The spokesman of the Delta State Police Command, SP Bright Edafe, who disclosed this to journalists, explained that the arrest of Dickson Omalge in Warri led to the arrest of the two others in Benin City.
He said the arrest of Dickson Omalge followed a report by someone that his Toyota Corolla was stolen from where it was parked in the community.
He further said that on sighting the vehicle on Eku-Warri road by Oha Junction in Okpe LGA, the DPO in the locality mobilised his men and vigilantes in a hot chase which led to the arrest of Dickson Omalge with the vehicle and a master key.

Edafe disclosed that further investigation and interrogation of the suspect led to the arrest of the two other suspects in Benin City.
He said a total of 12 suspected stolen vehicles with registration and chassis numbers were recovered from the suspect in Benin City and Warri.
