The police have busted a syndicate of cybercrime suspects and arrested three persons.
Operatives from the tactical unit of the command busted the syndicate of which members had been on the run for cybercrimes committed in Imo and neighbouring states.

Those arrested are Chidiebere Nwaguma (23), Chukwuemeka Johnson (20) and Maduka Vincent (22).
The suspects are said to be natives of Mbaitoli Local Government Area, but resident at Orogwe Owerri West Local Government Area of Imo State.
The police spokesman in the state, SP Bala Elkana, who confirmed the arrests, said the Commissioner of Police (CP), Abutu Yaro, had directed that the suspects be charged to court when JUSUN strike was called off.
In a related development, the police arrested five suspected cultists at Umuofor Obike in Ngor Okpala Local Government Area of the state at about 2.am on Monday.
SP Elkana said the suspects were arrested by men of the Ngor Okpala police division led by CSP Ishaya Pam and that on interrogation they confessed to being cultists.
The suspects names were given as Uche Confidence (19), Sopuruchi Godwin (16), Ifeanyivhukwu Sunday (16), Chinuchi Ihejinka (19) and Chigozie Anayo (20), all from Umuofor Obike in Ngor Okpala LGA.
