Police in Edo State have arrested three men, Emeka Samuel (23), Michael Peter (25) Noah Joseph (30), for allegedly stealing 180 litres of diesel valued at N324,000 from a tanker.
The command’s spokesperson, SP Chidi Nwabuzor, said one Sunny Idemudia reported to the police that his truck with registration number, Edo 75 YW, parked in front of Kingdom Heritage Filling Station along the Benin-Lagos Expressway by Isior Quarters, Benin City, was burgled by the suspects.
Chidi said two of the suspects, Emeka and Michael, were arrested in connection with the theft on April 9, while Jo-seph was arrested later.

He added that during a search of Joseph’s apartment, one cut-to-size double-barrel gun with two live cartridges and a brown bag were recovered.
