The Nigeria Police Force, Osun State Command, has arrested two suspected kidnappers and rescued six persons from them.
It was learnt that the six persons were kidnapped while travelling along Ila road and taken to a forest.

Our correspondent gathered that the kidnappers were negotiating for a ransom with the victims’ relatives when the police rescued them.
Sources said the Deputy Commissioner of Police in the state, who is in charge of the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department, DCP Raji Hamzat, led the rescue operation.
It was also gathered that some local hunters who are members of the Hunters Group of Nigeria (HGN) teamed up with the policemen for the operation.
The Commissioner of Police in the state, Mr Olawale Olokede, confirmed this to Daily Trust in Osogbo, the state capital.
Meanwhile, the CP said another victim was equally rescued from the kidnappers at Ilesa axis but the kidnappers had escaped.
He said policemen are on the trail of the fleeing kidnappers and assured that they would be arrested and brought to book.
