Police arrest 2 burglars in Ekiti, recover valuables

The police in Ekiti State have arrested two men who burgled 16 houses and stole valuables.

The command’s spokesman, DSP Sunday Abutu, said that on October 10, one Segun Olamide, popularly called Confidence, was arrested for burgling 16 houses and shops belonging within Ado-Ekiti.

Abutu explained that during interrogation, Confidence confessed to the crime and mentioned one Okatunji Michael, who resides in Akure, Ondo State, who was later arrested.

He noted that three other of his accomplices were at large.

He said the suspects led police operatives to recover some of the stolen items.
