Police arrest 16 ‘armed robbers’, kidnappers in Adamawa

The Adamawa State Police Command has apprehended 16 individuals suspected of armed robbery and kidnapping.

In a joint patrol with local hunters, the command’s operatives were able to recover six AK-47 rifles and other items from the suspects, who were apprehended in various local government Areas including Mubi North, Gombi and Fufore.

SP Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje, the command’s spokesman, confirmed the arrests and explained that the suspects will be charged to court for prosecution after the completion of investigations.
