The police in Ekiti State have arrested 15 drug dealers, armed robbers and cultists at their hideouts in Atikankan area of Ado-Ekiti.
The state’s police spokesman, DSP Sunday Abutu, said the Rapid Response Squad (RRS), on July 13, 2022, clamped down on a group of hoodlums at Atikankan and arrested the 15 suspects.

Those arrested are Musa Madaki (35), Abdullahi Umar (25), Shola Adeyemi (43), Hawalu Ali (45), Usman Amisu (30), Haruna Usman (20), Yanusa Abubakar (25), Usman Lawali (20) and Ajayi Opeyemi (20).
Others are Toheeb Isa (21), Ajiboye Michael (19), Kayode Yinka (20), Taiwo Michael (20), Jimoh Zarheal (19) and David Henry (36).
Abutu said items recovered from the suspects were two locally made single-barrel guns, two axes, two locally made pistols and wraps of leaves suspected to be Indian hemp.
He said all the suspects confessed to be robbers, illicit drug dealers and cultists.
