The Jigawa Police Command says it has arrested 12 suspects for allegedly causing the death of 40-year-old Yusuf Muhammad in Miga Local Government Area (LGA) of the state.
The command’s Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), ASP Lawan Shiisu, confirmed the arrest to newsmen in Dutse on Monday.

Shiisu said the suspects, who were residents of Hantsu village, allegedly attacked Markewa village in the same local government area on July 2, over a minor misunderstanding.
He explained that as a result, seven persons sustained injuries and fracture.
The PPRO added that the victims were rushed to the General Hospital, Jahun, in Jahun LGA.
According to him, one of the victims was confirmed dead while receiving treatment at the hospital, while the rest were treated and discharged. (NAN)
