Police arrest 11 robbery suspects in Enugu

The Police Command in Enugu State has said that it has arrested 11 suspects involved in armed robbery, cultism, rape, car snatching and recovered three firearms within two weeks in the state.

At a press conference in Enugu on Tuesday, the new Commissioner of Police in the State, Mr Mohammed Aliyu, said the arrests were made from January 27 when he took over office till date.

He said the command also recovered 76 live ammunitions of 7.62mm diameter bullets, three live cartridges, four vehicles, two tricycles and two motorcycles.
