Police arraigns fake soldiers in court

Osun police arraigned Abolaji Gabriel and Samuel Matthew before a magistrate court in Osogbo.

Two men in Osun are in custody for impersonation using the Nigerian army uniform.

Osun police arraigned Abolaji Gabriel and Samuel Matthew before a magistrate court in Osogbo.

Both men were arrested on August 16 at 10pm at Old Garage area of the state capital.

Police prosecutors told the court the men wore complete army uniform with intent to deceive and rob unsuspecting residents.

Both men pleaded not guilty and got N100,000 bail.

A hearing of the case against them continues on September 25.
