The Osun State Police Command has arraigned four men before an Osogbo, Osun State, magistrate court for alleged forgery and breach of public peace.
The police prosecutor, Assistant Superintendent of Police, John Idoko, told the court on Friday that the men – Najeem Popoola, Kabiru Omoola, Abiola Olakunle and Bamidele Ishola – conspired on October 24, 2019 to commit the offences. The accused persons pleaded not guilty to the five-count charge.
Their counsel, Mr Olaide Awolola, applied for bail on their behalf, with an assurance to the court that they would be available to face the trial.
Magistrate Olusegun Ayilara released them on bail in the sum of N500,000, with two sureties and adjourned the case till November 29, 2019.
