Operatives of the Plateau State Police Command have neutralised a suspected armed robber on the Barkin Ladi-Bokkos road.
The spokesman of the command, DSP Alabo Alfred, said, “On 29th August, 2024, at about 800pm, our patrol team attached to the Department of Operations (DOPS) while on their way to Bokkos LGA encountered a roadblock mounted by suspected armed robbers.

“Upon sighting the patrol vehicle, the hoodlums opened fire on the officers. Consequently, a gun battle ensued between the officers and the criminals, resulting in the neutralisation of one of the suspects while the others managed to escape into the forest. The scene has been visited by the DPO of Bokkos and the corpse deposited at the Bokkos Public Morgue.”
