A cross-section of customers have commended Polaris Bank has been commended by some of its customers for its payment of US dollars for money transfer while complying with the Central Bank of Nigeria’s (CBN) policy directive.
In a statement by the bank, cited some of the customers one of whom is Mrs. Osaretin Efosa.

At a branch in Benin, Edo State, she said she received money remitted to her for the very first time from her son in the United States of America.
“The money transfer attendant I met in the branch received and attended to me well and in less than five minutes I was counting dollars with my own hands,” she said.
Mr. Segun Adetiloye from a Lagos branch said he doubted that the Bank would comply even after receiving a notice on the remittances.
“Polaris Bank made my Christmas and new year celebrations memorable,” was the excited remark from
Okechukwu Nnamdi in Osogbo, Osun State said: “I received dollars sent to me by my younger brother in America live and direct.”
