Players to wear black arm-band

Speaking with Hoops Center in Abuja yesterday, NBBF President, Tijjani Umar, said the directive that players should wear black arm-band is to honour the Nigeria late president who contributed immensely to the development of sports in his close to three years reign as president.

The NBBF president said that games slated for the weekend in the two conferences (Atlantic and Savannah) will go ahead as planned.

In the Atlantic conference, Dodan Warriors basketball club and Union Bank basketball club will tango in a local derby at 15H00 at the Sports Hall of the National Stadium, Lagos, the game will be live on SuperSport network and on Sunday Police Baton and Ebun Comets will take their turn at the same venue dunk-off time is 16H00 while Delta Force battle visiting Royal Hoopers of Port Harcourt at the Sports Hall of Asaba Township stadium, Delta State.
