With the game in its closing stages, Izuchukwu Chimezie completed the rout as he scored the fifth in the 91st to condemn their guests to a 7th loss and rooted in the last spot on the table.

Similarly, Kano Pillars continued their resurgence as they defeated table toppers Remo Stars 2-1 at the Sani Abacha stadium.

It was a cagey affair in the first half as both sides matched one another in creating chances but in the second half, Ibrahim Mustapha Yuga opened the scoring in the 50th minute for the hosts but Dayo Ojo equalised in the 72nd minute.

With the game looking to end in a draw, NPFL legend, Rabiu Ali scored the winning goal in the 79th minute as Pillars move up to 6th position on the table.

Enugu Rangers soiled the birthday celebrations of Sporting Lagos’ coach, Paul Offor by defeating his side 2-0 who have just one win in their last six games.

After 813 minutes of football, Doma United goalkeeper, Kingdom Osayi conceded a goal. Lobi Stars’ Stan Ogabor ended the run in the 4th minute to eventually win the game 2-1. Osayi last conceded against Shooting Stars, a run of 9 clean sheets.
