The Plateau State Governor, Simon Bako Lalong, has pledged to offer Sylvia Ulan Andrew, who scored A1 in all her nine subjects in the recently released Senior Secondary School Examination scholarship to any university of her choice.
The governor made the pledge when he received Sylvia in his office.

Governor Lalong, who congratulated her said he was not surprised because of the abundant talents available in the state.
He praised her mother for raising her single-handedly since the death of her husband even before she was born.
Plateau State Coordinator on SDGs, Mr. Sam Damla, who led the family to the Government House said the performance of the student again showed the potential of the people of the state which must be harnessed.
Ulan thanked the governor for the reception and promised not to disappoint him and the people of the state.
Benue Plateau Trust reports that Sylvia who is from Bokkos LGA is a student of Premier Academy, Lugbe, Abuja. She was said to have emerged overall best at national common entrance examinations which earned her a scholarship by the Shell Petroleum Company.
