The Police in Plateau State have confirmed the abduction the Long Dorok Engr. David Isah Dongbam, a second class monarch in Shendam local government area of the state.
Daily Trust gathered that unknown gunmen had stormed the monarch’s residence Monday night and whisked away with him.
In a statement issued by the Public Relations Officer, DSP Tyopev Terna, the police stated that the incident had occurred around 10pm adding that, “the Plateau State Police Command, Jos had received the information that unknown gunmen stormed the residence of “the Long Dorok” HRH Engr. David Isah Dongbam, the Second Class Chief of Dorok of Shandam Local Government Area of Plateau State and Kidnapped him to an unknown destination.”
The statement stated that on receipt of the information, the command immediately formed a search and rescue team which is working assiduously to rescue the paramount ruler unhurt.
It said the command shall update members of the public as soon as new information crops in.
