An NGO, Unity Foundation, has trained over 3,000 women on vocational skills in Jos, the Plateau State capital.
The trainees who comprised married and single women were trained on tailoring, makeup, catering, cosmetology, among others.

The Director of the foundation, Alhaji Abubakar Yaro Mai Dankali, said the initiative was to assist vulnerable women acquire skills that would sustain their livelihoods.

Alhaji Mai Dankali who said this yesterday during the graduation ceremony of the trainees at the Jos Central Mosque, urged them to utilise the skills to achieve positive things.
