The Jama’atu Izalatil Bid’ah Wa Iqamatus Sunnah (JIBWIS) has urged Christians and Muslims in Plateau State to be tolerant of one another irrespective of their religious or ethnic affiliations.

Sheik Gana made the call in the wake of recent killings in communities in Mangu LGA, advising that it was high time for people to stay away from any form of violence and embrace peace.

While presenting a paper, Gana appealed to Muslims and Christians to refrain from inciting, seditious and inflammatory statements capable of jeopardising peaceful coexistence in the country.
