Chief Imam leads special prayer for Gen. Alkali

The Chief Imam of Jos, Shiekh Muhammad Lawal Adam yesterday led other Muslim faithful on a special supplications for late General Idris Alkali whose remains were on Wednesday recovered from an abandoned well in Guchwet village in Shen District in Jos South Local Government Area of Plateau State.

Sheikh Adam, who led the special prayer, shortly after the obligatory Juma’at prayer at the Jos Central Mosque said late Alkali’s selfless service and contributions to the country, will not go unnoticed.

He said late General Alkali deserves our supplications and therefore prayed Allah forgives his shortcomings, have mercy on his soul and also grant him al-Jannatul Firdausi.
