Pinnick, Mouktar congratulate Dikko on appointment as NSC Chairman

A former Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) president, and member of FIFA Executive Committee, Amaju Pinnick, and the Chairman of the FCT Football Association, Alhaji Adam Mouktar Mohammed have congratulated Malam Shehu Dikko on his recent appointment as Chairman of the National Sports Commission (NSC).

Pinnick described Dikko as a team player with integrity, energy and resilience who has the capacity to develop Nigerian sports.

“I thank President Bola Ahmed Tinubu immensely for this big task handed over to one man that I am convinced can do a good job. Dikko was very close to me personally during our years at the NFF because I saw in him a man with profound vision, dynamism, and capacity for a lot of good and great things, positivity and sincerity,” he said.

Similarly, the Chairman of the FCT FA, Muhammed has described Dikko’s appointment as a testament of his exceptional skills, experience and dedication to public service.

“As a Sports enthusiast, I am thrilled to see an individual like Mallam Shehu Dikko being entrusted with such an important role.

“This appointment signifies President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s confidence in his ability to contribute to the enhancement of governance, and service delivery in Nigeria, especially in the area of sports development.

“Dikko’s expertise and experience will undoubtedly be valuable in achieving the administration’s goals of good governance and overall development,” he said.

The FCT FA Chairman said he was certain that Dikko’s appointment as Chairman the NSC, will provide an incredible platform for him to leave lasting legacies in Nigeria’s sports.
