Media Officer of the club, Malam Rilwanu Idris Malikawa who disclosed this yesterday said two highly experienced players, Isaac Lotin and Anthony Abawula who joined the club from Sharks and Bayelsa United respectively will be part of the squad that is going to face newcomers, Giwa FC.
Furthermore, Malikawa said players of Pillars have been charged by the management to give the match all the necessary attention.
He said the chairman of the club Arc. Ibrahim Haruna while motivating the players and the coaching crew reminded them of the monumental task before them in the second stanza of the league.
“The chairman said government and the entire people of Kano are behind Sai Masu Gida and hope they would not relent in their effort in ensuring that they win all their remaining matches in order to remain the champion at the end of the season”.
Meanwhile, the Media officer said two of the clubs inspirational midfielders Shagari Muhammad and Eneji Otekpa have also expressed readiness to give their all against Giwa FC.
“Speaking after training this morning (yesterday), Shagari Mohammed and Eneji Otekpa were full of confidence that Pillars would record a resounding victory over Giwa FC. They assured that the team is up to the task before it and the players will spare nothing in their search for victory,” he said.
