PHOTOS: Wike leads G-5 governors to Benue

Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State, on Sunday, led aggrieved governors of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to Benue State, where they were received by Governor Samuel Ortom.

Aside Wike and Ortom, other governors in the G-5 are Seyi Makinde (Oyo), Okezie Ikpeazu (Abia) and Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi (Enugu).

These governors and their allies pulled out of the campaign of Atiku Abubakar, Presidential Candidate of the PDP, giving the resignation of Senator Iyioricha Ayu as national chairman of the party as condition for peace to reign.

However, Atiku, in an interview with VOA Hausa said removal of Ayu was not a reality at this point, stating that he had moved on from the internal crisis in the party.
