For the first time since he was sworn into office, President Bola Tinubu and ex-President Olusegun Obasanjo were seen together in public.
The duo were among the guests who witnessed the inauguration of Governor Hope Uzodimma of Imo State.
The last time both men were seen together publicly was in the buildup to the election when Tinubu visited Obasanjo’s residence in Abeokuta, Ogun State, to seek his support.
The former president had chosen Peter Obi, Presidential Candidate of Labour Party, over Tinubu, who ran on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Subsequently when he visited Abeokuta – to campaign and on a thank you trip after winning the election, Tinubu shunned Obasanjo’s residence.
But on Monday, both men exchanged pleasantries and shook hands. Below are pictures:
