PHOTOS: Tinubu absent as Atiku, Obi, Kwankwaso sign peace agreement

Asiwaju Bola Tinubu of the ruling All progressives Congress (APC) was conspicuously absent when some candidates of the 2023 presidential election signed a peace accord in Abuja on Thursday.

However, Senator Kashim Shettima, his running mate, stood in for him.

Among the signatories were former Vice President Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP); Peter Obi of Labour Party and New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP)’s Rabiu Kwankwaso.

The peace accord was brokered by the National Peace Committee (NPC) led by a Nigerian former Head of State, Abdulsalami Abubakar.
