Behold there is a new queen in the ancient city of Ile Ife, the cradle of Yoruba race in Osun State.
The palace has been “lonely” for Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, Ooni of Ife, since the former queen, Evangelist Silekunola Naomi, took a walk in December 2021.

But on September 6, 2022, Queen Mariam Anako was formally ushered in as the king’s companion and mother of Ife kingdom.
