Supporters of the All Progressive Congress (APC) welcomed the party’s Governorship candidate in the 2023 General Elections, Nasiru Yusuf Gawuna, to Kano, on Sunday.
Daily Trust reports that Gawuna’s visit marks his first public appearance and visit to the state since the handing over of the last administration.
Recall that the National Chairman of the party, Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, made a similar trip to the state after the Supreme Court ruled against the APC.

It was gathered that the massive reception of the teeming supporters accompanied Gawuna from the Mallam Aminu Kano International Airport (MAKIA) to his residence at Miller road.
According to a source close to him, he is in Kano to visit family and friends and also greet party supporters among others.
