PHOTOS: Students stranded as SSANU, NASU shut down BUK

In continuation of the 7-day warning strike, the Joint Action Committee of the Senior Staff Association of Nigerian Universities (SSANU) and the Non-Academic Staff Union (NASU) have completely shut down the main gate of Bayero University Kano (BUK).

The development has kept students writing exams and other staff stranded outside the varsity main entrance.

The aggrieved parties later opened the gate but after some of the students had missed their exams.
