PHOTOS: Scenes from NLC solidarity protest in Abuja

Workers across the 36 states of the Federal Republic of Nigeria on Tuesday embarked on a protest in solidarity with the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU).

The protest is a warning to the federal government to yield to the call for the reopening of Nigerian universities by meeting the demands of ASUU and other three unions thus allowing students return to the classroom for academic activities.
