Hajia Maryam Ado Bayero, mother of the Emir of Kano and Bichi Emirates, has been laid to rest.
The burial rites, which held at Kano Emir’s Palace, Kofar Kudu Kano, had Governor Abdullahi Ganduje and other top government functionaries in attendance.

Hajia Maryam Ado Bayero died on Saturday in Egypt.

The deceased, aged 86, was the wife of late emir, Ado Bayero and a princess of Ilorin Emirate in Kwara state.
