There is low turnout of voters at several polling units in Jigawa as the state conducts the local government election on Saturday (today).
Our correspondent observed that while security operatives and presiding officers were on the ground, voters were yet to turn up at some polling units as of 9.30am.

At Jigawar Tsada ward polling unit JSS 16, the officials were seated with election materials, awaiting the arrival of voters.
