Former President Goodluck Jonathan joined his successor, President Muhammadu Buhari, at Eagles Square, Abuja, on Saturday to mark his last Independence Day in office.
Buhari will bow out of office on May 29, 2023, after spending two terms in office.
At Nigeria’s 62nd Independence Day anniversary, Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo and other top government functionaries were also in attendance.
