A group known as Sawaba Humanitarian Initiative has conducted a special prayer for an end to insecurity and economic challenges causing severe hardship to Nigerians.
The special prayer was held in Dutse, capital of Jigawa state, after all effort by security agents to stop the organisers failed.
Hundreds of people who participated in the special prayer, expressed worry over the future of the country as poverty, hunger and diseases kill people on daily basis while those in authority or power show no concern about it.
Speaking to journalists after the special prayer, the National president of Sawaba Humanitarian Initiative, Comrade Umar Danjani Hadejia, said the situation in the country is becoming very unbearable to common man.
