Members of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) turned out in large numbers for the governorship primary election in Osun State, on Saturday.
The exercise held in 323 wards in the state. The APC approved direct primary.
Two factions of the APC in Osun – Governor Gboyega Oyetola’s loyalists and a faction loyal to the Minister of Interior and former governor of the state, Rauf Aregbesola, locked horns in the exercise, but the governor won by a landslide.
