Flood has taken over the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) office in Edo State few months to the governorship election slated for September 21.

Lately, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has instituted a 152-member national campaign council as part of preparations for the gubernatorial election in the state.

The Labour Party had inaugurated campaign council ready to wade through the election come September 21.

Seventeen political parties have fielded candidates for the governorship election and the electoral body is warming up for the election.
