Firefighters, with help from the public, battled the inferno that ravaged a section of Nguru central market in Nguru Local Government Area of Yobe State, on Saturday.
The fire outbreak gutted several shops and stalls in the second-hand clothes section of the market.

The firefighting trucks couldn’t get access to the market because of the congestion of shops. Instead, they channelled their hose with the help of some youth to the points of the fire.
