Voting activities for the governorship election in Edo State have commenced.
Daily Trust had reported that at least 2,249,780 voters who have collected their Permanent Voters Cards (PVCs) in Edo will elect the next governor of the state.
Although 17 political parties have fielded their candidates, the poll is expected to be a contest of strength among the three major parties – the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the state, All Progressives Congress (APC) and Labour Party (LP).
