Spectranet 4G LTE bags outstanding broadband award

Spectranet 4G LTE has been awarded the Outstanding Broadband 4G company of the year at the just concluded Marketing Edge Annual National Marketing Stakeholders Summit and Brand Advertising held at the civic centre, Lagos. The event which had in attendance crème de crème of the society was organised by management of Marketing Edge to recognize companies that have contributed immensely to Nigeria’s development in area of marketing and marketing communications.
Speaking during the presentation of the award, the Managing Director Marketing Edge, Mr John Ajayi stated that Spectranet has been recognised as Outstanding Broadband 4G LTE of the year because of its commitment to, and consistency in delivering best internet services across the country. He reiterate that having followed the progress of Spectranet 4G LTE over the years, ‘…it is only fair for us to recognise their tenacity in making sure everyone has access to fast, affordable and smart internet connection in the country’.
It will be recalled that Spectranet was also adjudged the broadband company of the year 2016 at the recently concluded Beacon of ICT award held recently.
Global Tech partners win ‘Visa Prepaid Service Provider of the Year’

Global Technology Partners (GTP), a processor of Visa prepaid debit cards in over 30 African countries, has been awarded the ‘Visa Prepaid Service Provider of the Year’ at the Prepaid Summit Middle East and Africa 2016.

NAHCO wins Global Risk Award in UK

The Nigerian Aviation Handling Company PLC (nahco aviance) has won award in United Kingdom for excellent service delivery in the face of very challenging business environment.
The award was conferred on the foremost ground handling company at the Global Risk Awards 2016 which held at the London Hilton, Park Lane.
The Award, according to spokesman of NAHCO, Mr. Tayo Ajakaye, covers 13 categories in 40 countries and is one of the most coveted risk management awards in the world.
nahco aviance came top in “Excellence in the Face of Adversity” which is the most competitive category.
Heritage Bank launches pay attitude

Heritage Bank has launched the Pay Attitude mode of payment to give its customers a variety of payment solution options.
The Pay Attitude is a Chip and Pin tag-type contactless solution based on Near Field Communication (NFC) technology, which converts a customer’s mobile phone handset to an NFC device and links the handset to the customer’s debit or prepaid account plus ePurse account, enabling the subscriber or customer to debit their accounts for different payment transactions.
According to a statement from the bank, The Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of the bank, Mr. Ifie Sekibo said that Pay Attitude was included as part of the bank’s collection of payment solutions because of its plus functionality, which guarantees subscribers the confidence and comfort of successful proximity or contactless payment for goods and services at merchant locations at all times, notwithstanding problems or challenges of telecommunication or unavailability of network of the merchant or customer’s bank.
The Managing Director said that such transactions are authorized offline up to the value of plus functionality that the customer subscribed to with the bank.
FCMB creates fun banking platform for youths

The flagship Flexx Hub is located at Lagos University Teaching Hospital, popularly called MediLag.
