Peter Obi is not different from Atiku, Tinubu – Kachikwu, ADC candidate

The presidential candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Dumebi Kachikwu, has said that there is no difference between the presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), Peter Obi, the Peoples Democratic Party’s (PDP’s), Atiku Abubakar, and that of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Kachikwu disclosed this during an interview on Channels TV’s Politics Today.

He said the three presidential candidates are part of the old political order.

He said, “Why we don’t want to come together with Peter Obi, Labour party and see him as part of the smaller parties is simply because there is no difference between Peter Obi, Atiku Abubakar and Asiwaju. They are part of the old political order. They are people who held office.

“They are all the same and have nothing absolutely to offer. There is no reason why we will say we come together for the purpose of power. I am not in this because I seek power desperately. I am in this because my country desperately needs change and salvation. So if we were to say we are looking for power for the sake of power, we consider any alignment just to get power. That is not why we are in this.”
