More than seven months ago, the DG, PenCom requested federal and state pension offices to send details of their pensioners for the payment of palliatives. We submitted the information needed to our state governments. I read in the social media that the DG PenCom borrowed the sum of N5 trillion from Pension Funds for that purpose about six months ago.
I don’t know what is happening. No palliative is paid to any federal or state pensioner yet. The matter is dead. What is happening to the N5 trillion borrowed from the Pension Funds? Why is the DG PenCom silent about the palliative payments? When are the palliatives going to be paid?
