The Lawmaker representing Etinan/Nsit Ubom/Nsit Ubium federal constituency in the House of Representatives, Mr Onofiok Luke, has said peace and security are essential to the development of Akwa Ibom State.
Luke stated this in Abuja while speaking at the end of the year get together of the Etinan Federal Constituency Forum.

He promised to set up a scholarship scheme for the indigenes of Etinan Federal Constituency in honour of Late Mr Aniedi King, who founded the Forum.
In his address, the President of the Forum, Elder Idongesit Asanga said the forum fosters mutual understanding among the members and leaders of the constituency.
