The result of the State House of Assembly election in Kudan local government area of Kaduna state released yesterday showed that the gubernatorial candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Isa Ashiru Kudan, has lost the constituency.
Candidate of the APC, Faisal Abbas Likoro, scored 29,395, while the candidate of the PDP, Junaidu Yakubu, scored 20,984.
The Returning Officer, Professor Haladu Isa Bayero, therefore declared the APC’s candidate as the winner of the Kudan State Assembly seat, which is the local government of origin of the PDP candidate.
